VIVA at MacWorld 2006

World premiere at MacWorld 2006 in San Francisco: VIVA´s new Publishing Server and free Page Layout Application

San Francisco, January 9th, 2006. For the first time in the 12 year history of the German publishing manufacturer VIVA, the company is using the international platform of the MacWorld 2006 in San Francisco (Booth #547).

In the center of activities are the manufacturer's new products for the operating system Mac OS X. Thus the layout program »VivaDesigner« is now available in a pre-release version for Mac OS X – delivery of the product should take place in the Spring of 2006. Further, VIVA is showing the Mac version of »VivaImpose«, a digital imposition program, and »Viva Posterize«, a program for large format poster tiling and output. The most important product introduction is that of the »Network Publishing Servers« for Mac OS X.

VIVA has in recent years experienced great success, especially in the sales and marketing of automated and network-supported publishing systems, with which layouts for catalogs or ads can be produced fully automatically from remote workstations. Companies such as »Schroders Investement«, »TUI«, »Bofrost« and many other renowned companies from all fields have been using VIVA products successfully for years.

While the Publishing Server was previously only available for Windows and Linux, VIVA is now able to supply the product for Mac OS X. At the MacWorld 2006 the Macintosh version of the Server is being introduced in public for the first time.
