VivaDesigner, as the successor of the award-winning layout software VivaPress, follows a more than 12-year-old tradition.
VIVA has for many years been a market leader in the field of typesetting and layout programs. Already since 1992 VIVA´s typesetting and layout programs have been supporting character-based style sheets, CapHeight calculation, a single document format for all languages world-wide, InRIP color separations, dependant objects (Alias Objects), circular as well as polygonal text and picture objects.
VIVA also invented style sheets for images and objects.
