Schroders Investment, the Merchant Bank with 3,000 employees and a Fund volume of over 210 billion Euro world-wide, produces fund reports with VivaIP.

Financial services must be provided quickly and above all almost immediately. When a fund investment company supplies its figures compiled for the monthly reports to an agency, so that from them accurate documents with graphs and charts can be created, this reveals many problems.

Schroders creates complex fund reports immediately and fully automatically with VivaIP in just a few seconds, including tables, bar charts, line graphs and pi-charts, in more than six languages.

In such a workflow much too much time for the checking and control of the documents is lost, not to mention potential sources for errors. Therefore many financial service providers have seriously considered creating these documents themselves. These plans were however mostly shelved due to the enormous workload and costs involved. With VivaIP the documents are no longer produced by an agency but by an employee or even by the Fund Manager. This is easily achieved without any prior knowledge of graphics programs or technical requirements for the printing of color documents. No training at all is required.

At Schroders Investment the employees work as usual with a special database and a Browser interface, with which the fund reports and tables for the fund performance are created. With a keystroke PDFs can be created, for the Web or for the printing company, with or without crop marks, according to preference.
